With nearly 20 years of reporting, writing and editing experience, I’ve covered almost any breaking news story, write the feature story that follows the breaking news, write the evergreen parenting and other features that never go out of style, and direct the coverage and edit the stories of other journalists ages 14 to 80.
Although I’ve focused recently on parenting issues and opinion pieces, I have experience making legal, business and political stories interesting and relevant to readers. Deconstructing difficult public policy issues comes naturally to a journalist with a master’s in public policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government who also covered the reconstruction of the World Trade Site, New York City’s labor issues and even Supreme Court case law.
